I was raised in a small town in Southern Indiana. As a youngster I enjoyed hunting and fishing with my friends and family. My path is not that different from the other kids from Southern Indiana. Similar to my hometown buddies, this outdoor lifestyle seemed like a normal way to live. Today, hunting and fishing is not just a hobby for me, it’s a way of life.
As a youngster, most of my hunts were an epic failure, and more fish got off the hook rather than in the net. Admittedly, I still occasionally get spotted by wild game, and lose catfish off of the bank poles, but my experiences make me who I am today. I am very thankful for all of the amazing friends, family and mentors I have had along the way.
I have a beautiful wife and daughter, and we are currently active volunteers in our community here in Central Illinois. We try to spread our passion for the outdoors to everyone we meet.
I also am a cofounder of Tall Oaks Archery, and a member of multiple nonprofit outdoor recreational organizations. My experiences hunting, fishing and conducting outdoor equipment research will be beneficial to The Archers Post.
The beginning part of my story as an Outdoorsman is written. The next chapter will include, The Archer’s Post.
